PATENTED SYSTEMS FOR VENTILATED FACADES AND MICROVENTILATED COATS

VENTILATED FACADE

The ventilated facade or wall is a particular type of outer surface building coating.

The system consists in the application of plates or panels which are anchored to the bearing structure via coupling systems and metal supports. The finishing slabs can be of various thicknesses and materials (ceramics, marble, stone, fiber cement, rolls). The ventilated wall is mainly characterized by the position of the outer coating layer, which does not adhere directly to the wall.

It appears  instead to be outdistanced by leaving an interspace which allows the natural circulation of air from the base to the top. This interspace creates a continuos ventilation effect (chimney effect) due to the temperature difference among the inner and the outer air.

APPLICATIONS

Modern architecture is always evolving by searching new cutting-edge systems and solutions which can meet today's contemporary building requirements to ensure greater efficiency, functionality, practicality, innovation and comfort.

The ventilated facades represent an innovative building system that combines a high stylistic quality to a technical performance. They are mainly born to satisfy the need of a high esthetic quality combined with energy conservation and thermal and acoustic insulation. They are used both in private housing contexts (coverings and home renovation such as houses, condominiums, buildings and industrial including factories and warehouses) and in public sector (hospitals, airports, railway stations, shopping centers and public use buildings).

ADVANTAGES TECNOFACCIATE

The application of our patented ventilated facades systems and micro-ventilated coats guarantees several advantages:

  • Increased thermal insulation, almost total reduction of thermal bridges resulting in consistent energy savings.
  • Increased sound insulation thanks to the fully closed joints
  • Fully closed Getaways ensure complete front closure and thus a total absence of moisture and water infiltration. Furthermore, they avoid the intrusion of insects, preventing you costly pest control.
  • Protection of the wall structure by the direct action of the weather effects (wind, water, sand).
  • Simplification of assembly and greater safety on construction sites.
  • Independence of the individual plates and ease disassembly and reassembly of the same.
  • Ease of installation regardless of the weather.
  • Greater impact resistance of the cladding panels because as fixed on three sides.
